Employee Missing For 10 Years Found Inside Supermarket

I have so questions.

1. He had to get to the area he was found. So how would someone walking through a supermarket during the wintertime barefoot not be noticed? On top of that, he would have been recognized by other employees, so again, how’d he go unnoticed?
2. Decomposition. Grocery stores (even the very basic ones) have to be clean, and are inspected regularly by the health department. Wouldn’t a decomposing body put out a rotting smell (even behind coolers), and attract bugs and such? If not discovered by the laziest employees, the health department should have found him.
3. If he fell behind the coolers, wouldn’t something be out of place? A ladder sitting where it shouldn’t be, a vent cover or ceiling tile suddenly missing or broken?
4. If it was a place other employees escaped to from time to time, surely SOMEONE would have seen him in this 12’ 18” space others would crawl into and out of.

These are just the top questions that come to mind. Having an uncle who had a 30+ year career working in a supermarket, I’m sure he could come up with more.
