I wasn't sure where to put this but I wanted to share this with you guys.

My sister was 17 years old when her boyfriend, 20 years old Brandon Phillips, shot and killed two men at a corner market. I was 12 years old when this happened and I often went to his house with my sister. He seemed like a real good guy, treated me like his own little sister. He treated my sister well and often said he'd move the moon for her if she asked. My sister ended up pregnant and they were excited for the new baby, even talking about marriage when she turned 18.
My sister lost the baby at 3 months gestation. 4 days later, her boyfriend shot and killed 2 men in a robbery gone wrong.

My sister is the only one in our family that has seen the CTV footage of the shooting. She does not like to talk about it but she always says the same thing when asked, that his eyes were dead and he didn't give a shit about taking those lives. My sister says that he said he did it for her. He said that the miscarriage was devastating and he just wanted money to take her away, where they could have another child and marry.

My sister was devastated, dropping out of school and never leaving her room. None of us knew what to do. This man slept in our house. We all get chills when thinking about it. What would he have done if he hadn't murdered the Covault store owner and his coworker? Would he have come after us to make sure he could take my sister away? He was caught at his home, trying to hide his a gun in a small compartment in his wall in his room. It was never clarified to me whether or not it was the gun used in the murders.

It goes to show that you never know what someone is capable of. I do have my sister's permission to post this as long as her name is not mentioned anywhere.

Police in Dayton said they have identified two men who were arrested and accused in the shooting deaths of two men on Tuesday.

DAYTON, Ohio — Brandon Phillips, 18, and Michael Purdue, 20, both of Dayton, were arrested after police said they shot and killed the owner of Covault Market and a longtime employee.

Store owner R.C. 71, and R.H., 53, were found dead inside the store.

The shooting happened on Tuesday afternoon at the business on Wayne Avenue. Investigators said Phillips and Purdue were armed and were wearing masks when they entered the business in an attempted robbery.

Detectives said the men fled the scene but was captured a short time later. Police said an off-duty military police officer who lives nearby said he heard the shots and then ran to help.

The military police officer said he managed to get one man in custody and keep him until officers arrived. Police said officers managed to catch the second suspect a short time later.

People who live in the area said the neighborhood is generally quiet and that there are no problems. They also said that Covault was a good man and that he always gave back to the community and the neighborhood.

Phillips and Purdue are being held in the Montgomery County Jail on murder charges".

She has! She has an 8 year old son and is engaged.

She went once and never went again. He was blaming her and the miscarriage, coming up with every excuse he could to make himself seem like a victim. She went to his trial where he stated that after the owner hit him with metal rod, he lost his sanity and blacked out. That didn't fly, of course, but my sister was sickened. It was such a horrible thing to watch her go through.
She enrolled in a CTC school a few months later and she graduated with high honors. She is a manager at a store, has an 8 year old, and is engaged to a wonderful man.
