I guess a family member did finally tip police off. The mother had been telling them the girl had been taken away by DCF. She had two children taken away previously so it was feasible it could happen again.

She was a junkie. One of the comments on the site I was at said the girl ingested heroin but that of course is conjecture. However, it seemed two or three posting were from the same neighborhood.

Of course the mother wrote all of this blabbity, blah blah about how complete her life was because of her daughter. Who was it on here that said the more parents gush about how perfect their life is on Facebook usually have something to hide? I agree with that sentiment. The parents who are not abusing their children are the ones admitting they want to run far, far away sometimes

So the pos boyfriend says Bella was possessed so he punched her repeatedly in the stomach killing her. They then put her tiny broken body in the freezer for a month before tossing her into the water wrapped in a bag.

Family had no clue?

The family of a little girl whose body was found in a trash bag on Deer Island earlier this summer is shocked to learn their relative has been identified as “Baby Doe.”

“Washing dishes and playing bowling with her,” said Tamara Bond as she recalled memories of Bella Bond, her sister's daughter. "She was a cute little girl."

The Gardner woman said she was blind-sided by the news that “Baby Doe” has been identified as her niece.

“I just can't believe (it). I just don't understand why she would resort to that,” Tamara Bond said.

Tamara Bond said she had been following the story of “Baby Doe,” who washed up along the jagged landscape of Deer Island.

She said she never made the connection between the face on TV and the face of her niece, whom she last saw in January.

“I couldn't picture the two pieces together -- the live little girl and the picture they were showing on TV,” she said.

Bella's grandmother said she never even knew her granddaughter existed.

The Hubbardston woman said she hasn't seen or spoken to her daughter in 14 years. She does not want to be identified.

“I think we maybe have to see our priest about this for us because I don't know what else to do. I don't know what to do this is shocking -- shocking,” she said.

She said she now feels compelled to plan Bella’s funeral.

“We should do something. I don't know what but, she's of us,” she said. “I think it's our responsibility."

If anybody involved was possessed I would say it is the Mother for allowing this.

The "man",punched Bella repeatedly and she knew what was happening and what could happen before it happened.

In my opinion, she could have saved her life, or at the very least reported him, had him arrested, killed him herself!

They both need to die and they need to die slowly...miserably.

Little Bella Bond was allegedly killed by her mother's boyfriend because he thought she was possessed and "it was her time to die," a prosecutor told a judge at a Monday bail hearing.

Bella's mother, Rachelle Bond, wearing a zippered hoodie, and the boyfriend, Michael McCarthy, wearing a button-down, appeared in a Boston court for the proceeding. They watched from behind a glass partition as a judge granted a prosecutor's request that McCarthy be held without bail. The judge also set bail for Bond at $1 million "to ensure her appearance."

They both pleaded not guilty.

Looks like they are both going to be locked up for the foreseeable future.
