The seawall did take a lot of the force of the tsunami, the damage here didn't look as bad as some other vids.

Alot of places didnt have a sea wall, even a wall that small reduces alot of the force from it. Interesting how here in the UK pretty much all of the coastline has sea walls, and we have no chance of getting tsunamis.

i remember after the christmas day tsunami, how so many tsunami documentaries talked about how great japans warning and evacuation systems were, well not full-proof i guess
