Wildfire Reaches Thermal Plant Near Marmaris, Turkey
On August 4, 2021, a wildfire reached a thermal power plant in Marmaris, Turkey. The district center was completely evacuated. The plant reportedly had about 40,000 tons of coal stock. Hydrogen tanks at the site were reported empty.
