Typhoon Trami Remnants Flood Sanya
On October 28, remnants of Typhoon Trami combined with a cold front brought torrential rain to Sanya, Hainan Province. Cumulative rainfall reached 294 millimeters, bringing the city to a standstill and prompting widespread emergency responses. The storm set a new record for the highest single-day rainfall in October and was reported as the latest occurrence of a major storm in October.
