Typhoon Trami Floods Yongxing Island in Hainan
Typhoon Trami, the 20th typhoon to hit this year, swept through Sansha City in Hainan Province on October 26 with powerful winds, heavy rain, and large waves. On Xisha's Yongxing Island, where the Sansha city government is based, seawater flooded streets, trees were uprooted, and infrastructure was significantly damaged. Powerful wind and flooding were also reported in Zhejiang.
