Typhoon-force Winds Knock Down Hundreds of E-bikes in Beijing
On February 6, 2025, Beijing was hit by an exceptionally strong cold wave and windstorm, with typhoon-force winds knocking down hundreds of electric bikes. Daily life and travel were significantly affected for residents. The Beijing Meteorological Bureau said it was the largest and most intense wind and temperature drop event since the beginning of winter.
