Typhoon Danas Traps Hundreds on Ferry in Fujian
On July 8, 2025, Typhoon Danas, the fourth typhoon of the year, hit southeastern China and affected coastal provinces including Fujian. The storm brought violent wind gusts, lightning storms, and torrential rainfall from its large cloud bands. Hundreds of tourists were trapped inside a ferry.
