Torrential Rain Floods Downtown Fort Lauderdale
Torrential rainfall flooded downtown Fort Lauderdale on April 12, 2023, leaving streets and low-lying areas under deep water. At a Four Seasons hotel, rooms were flooded and its parking lot had roughly six inches of standing water. Some drivers attempted to cross water reported to be more than four feet deep.
