Tornadoes Hit Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina
Severe thunderstorms battered the southeastern United States on Tuesday, hitting Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina as the system moved through. There were more than 100 severe weather reports, including 33 tornado reports from Mississippi to South Carolina. The storms produced damaging winds and tornadoes as they moved from west to east.
