Tornado Causes Major Damage in Andover, Kansas
On April 29, a tornado touched down near Andover, Kansas, about 10 miles east of Wichita. Video on social media showed the twister cutting through or near a residential community in the east Wichita suburbs. The tornado caused major damage in Andover. Separate thunderstorms moved through after the tornado, and Andover received golf ball size hail at 9:30 p.m. local time.
