Tai Po Fire Traps Hundreds at Wang Fuk Court
A large-scale fire broke out at Wang Fuk Court, a residential apartment complex in Hong Kong's Tai Po district, on Wednesday, 26 November. The blaze burned multiple towers and trapped hundreds of people. It was described as Hong Kong's worst fire in decades and prompted one of the city's most extensive emergency responses in recent years. Wang Fuk Court is a high-density housing estate with eight towers and thousands of residents.
