Storm Blows Roofs Off in Changzhou, Jiangsu
Around 2 PM on May 26, Changzhou in Jiangsu Province was hit by sudden severe weather, including a downpour, strong winds, thunderstorms, and hail in some areas. The winds were described as hurricane-level and blew roofs off. Numerous trees were uprooted, causing disruptions and hazards for residents. According to the Changzhou Meteorological Observatory, the extreme weather was mainly caused by strong convective activity.
