Southern China Flood Emergency Across Guangdong and Guangxi
Southern China is facing a major flooding emergency after days of torrential rain across large parts of Guangdong and Guangxi. The prolonged downpours were fueled by a strong seasonal rain belt and abundant tropical moisture. Reports describe widespread flooding, rising rivers, urban waterlogging, landslides, and major disruption to transportation and daily life across the region.
