A powerful rainstorm hit Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei Province in northern China, on July 22.

The storm brought intense downpours, thunderstorms, and strong winds, disrupting daily life in several areas. Flooded streets and trapped cars were reported across Hebei.

Local authorities issued multiple warnings and urged residents to stay alert because of the risk of urban flooding, traffic disruption, and secondary disasters.
