When I worked up north, used to have them at night. The further north you go, the brighter they are. Was so bright did not need a flashlight at night, just loved looking at them. They actually move, like ripples, was awe inspiring!

more pix added. they usually appear at night, but can be seen sometimes during the day time. other planets like jupiter also have northern lights apparently |

These are fucking magnificent. I didn't think it could get better than lightning in those giant billowing ash clouds but it definitely has. Amazing photos Gutts, thanks. |

I'd have to bring a bag to pick up the pieces of my mind. I think that'd be the pinnacle of all light shows. And a natural one at that, wouldn't even need music. ![]() Definitely my favorite. |
