Re: New Orleans. Victims of Hurricane Katrina- NEW ADDED
Thanks for the work.. this is such a terrible disaster. It's strange being from up north because it was over looked by almost everyone. We had no idea of the reality of it. I mean, we knew homes were ruined, and people died, but seeing these images puts a much larger and more accurate picture on it.

The thing most people dont realize is many foreign countries sent aid but the us with its mighty delicate ego left it to rot on the docks while people were dieing of thirst and hunger.

Re: New Orleans. Victims of Hurricane Katrina- NEW ADDED
I work with a guy who lived in New Orleans when Katrina hit. I asked him what it was like during that time. He replied..."The media made it worse than what it actually was". I suppose he didn't live near any of this... One would think that seeing images like this in person would haunt you for awhile. He's fairly young too... I'd like to think he's too young to be desensitized by so much death. |

How fucking sad is this, this looks like photos you would see in another country, not here in the USA. Big mistakes were made when it came to this storm. I don't care if they were black, white, yellow, red, no one deserved what they had to go through. BTW- Nice find |
