Re: Mega Tsunami : Wave of Destruction
I don't think terrorists are to fear... If you don't live in America or you don't research much about current government laws and politics then you probably don't realize how bullshit the "terrorist threat" really is. I am not just talking about this particular situation just terrorism in general. It happens and its bad but the US government uses it as a buzzword to control and do things they want with free will for the sake of "safety against terrorism" such as the patriot act and other laws contradicting liberty and things established by the constitution that our nation is founded on. Were it not for the "terrorism is everywhere and evil" propaganda America would not be able to sustain the wars it has been in for so long in the middle east. For instance...the constitution states its a right of people to have freedom of speech and peaceful assemblies unhindered. But you can find a million stories and videos and the like showing that its not true...the government considers protests to be "low level acts of terrorism". Hell just last week I believe 3 people in Chicago got arrested on charges of terrorism because they were SUSPECTED of WANTING to make molotov cocktails to attack the NATO summit. In laymen terms? they were arrested for no actual crime, only a crime they were labeled with which is legal because of laws in place that allow the government to arrest people with NO fair trial or ANYTHING. Seriously...suspecting someone of wanting to do something is fucking ridiculous...it makes "thought crimes" real and not only real but able to be suspected (IE someone THINKS you are THINKING something!) Terrorists are a blown up exaggerated threat and people need to stop focusing on it so much. Sorry to derail |
