Massive Road Construction Collapse, Landslide

A large landslide was recorded on Sunday, March 12, afternoon in the works of Pacific 1, at the height of the Sinifaná sector, on the borders between the Bolombolo district, in Venice, and the municipality of Titiribí.

This emergency did not leave workers injured, since everyone heard a previous call that alerted them to what was going to happen.

Thousands of cubic meters of land fell on the new road corridor, which is not yet in operation, so there was no impact on mobility to and from the Southwest of Antioquia.

Re: Massive Road Construction Collapse, Landslide

Soil is a fluid, ye third world road builders. Would such a thin concrete skin hold back a reservoir of water that deep? No! Same difference.

Shit load of concrete over a sand / loose dirt mountainside without any horizontal reinforcement bars drilled into actual bedrock on the side of this mountain, wtf did they expect to happen. That's just laziness IMO.
