Magnitude 7.2 Earthquake Shakes Southern Peru
The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a magnitude 7.2 earthquake shook southern Peru on Thursday, May 26, 2022. The quake hit in the morning at 7:02 a.m. local time at a depth of 212 km. There were no immediate reports of damage.
