Heavy Snow Disrupts Travel and Services Across Spain
Heavy snowfall continued to affect extensive areas of Spain on Friday, disrupting transportation, public services and daily life. Winter conditions spread across northern, north-western and inland regions. Spain's national meteorological agency reported snow at unusually low elevations, with snow levels dropping to between 300 and 500 metres above sea level in several regions.
