Heavy Rain Triggers Flash Flood Warnings in Shanxi
Severe weather has been affecting multiple regions of China, with torrential rain causing disruptions and damage. A flooded street left a girl trapped during the storm. On August 6, heavy rain hit parts of Shanxi Province, including Lüliang, Taiyuan, and Yuncheng. Authorities issued flash flood warnings and closed several highways. In Yangquan City, the maximum recorded rainfall reached 47.4 millimeters.
