Heavy Rain Floods Algiers Subways, Three Crashes Reported
Sudden heavy rain flooded subway areas in Algiers, Algeria, within about five minutes. Three car accidents were confirmed. A 2011 expert report had warned that the Algiers Metro was vulnerable to flooding from underground water.  ·
