Hailstorm Hits Xi'an, Hundreds of Cars Destroyed
On the evening of May 8, strong convective storms swept through Xi'an, the capital of China's Shaanxi Province, at around 7:30 PM. The storms brought intense lightning, gale-force winds, heavy rainfall, and a severe hailstorm. An airport roof leaked, and hundreds of cars were destroyed.
