Flooding Submerges Neighborhoods in Bahía Blanca
On March 7, 2025, Bahía Blanca, one of Argentina's most important port cities, saw unprecedented flooding after torrential rain pounded the region for hours. An estimated 260 millimeters of rain fell in a very short period, overwhelming the city's drainage systems. Entire neighborhoods were submerged, with homes and a hospital under water and roads destroyed.
