Flooding Hits Shenzhen and Dongguan After Typhoon Rain
On the night of September 7, torrential rain from a typhoon caused flooding in Guangdong, with numerous areas of Shenzhen and Dongguan under floodwaters. Daily life was disrupted, and a dam discharge was reported. The rainfall broke seven historical weather records dating back to 1952.
