Flooding Hits Mecca and Madinah After Intense Storms
Intense rainstorms and flash floods have disrupted parts of Saudi Arabia, including Mecca and Madinah. The storms began on Monday, January 6, bringing torrential rain, hail, thunderstorms, and dust-laden winds that sharply reduced visibility. Reports said cars were swept away and some streets turned into rivers.
