Flooding at Berlin's Walther-Schreiber-Platz Station
Heavy rain sent water down the stairs and onto the tracks at Walther-Schreiber-Platz U-Bahn station in Berlin-Steglitz in early August 2013. The water shorted out a set of points. U9 service between Guentzelstrasse and Rathaus Steglitz was suspended from about half past ten at night until shortly after midnight, with no replacement buses running. Trains were moving again the next morning.
