Re: Family Drives Through Blazing California Wildfire
I have driven through several smaller grass fires here in the plains, but never anything that huge! Through my car windows, you could feel the intense heat even from the smaller fires I drove through. Driving through something that big/hot/close must have been terrifying. |

Re: Family Drives Through Blazing California Wildfire
Was this in Lake County, Ca.? We had so many fires going on in Cali last season I can't tell. I live in Lake county. 6 people were missing. 5 of them were found dead and 1 is still missing but 2 skeletons were found recently. I'm thinking it may have been the missing man and some other dude that he used to backpack with. No one knew if the friend was with him during the fire. The missing man refused to leave his house and was ushering out all his neighbors. After all was clear he has never been seen nor heard from again. I'll try to hunt down & post the video that I know for sure is from Lake Co.
