In the last photo, they are tibetan monks piling up bodies in preparation for a mass cremation: it was taken in April 2010, after the Yushu earthquake (which caused about 2,700 deaths).
I add a couple more:
1st photo = Mass cremation
2nd photo = Praying tibetan monks seen through flames, (it looks like a painting, but the photo is just distorted by the heat)
both were taken the same day.

3rd photo = Tibetan monk conducting a ceremony at the site of a mass cremation.
