Cyclone Dovi Hits New Zealand with Strong Winds and Large Waves
Severe weather hit New Zealand on Sunday morning as the remnants of Cyclone Dovi reached the country. Wind gusts between 130 km/h and 155 km/h were recorded in the central North Island. Waves up to 5 m were forecast for Hawke's Bay and the Gisborne area early Monday morning as Cyclone Dovi moved away from New Zealand.
