Cargo Ship Breaks Apart and Sinks Off Bartin
On January 17, 2021, a Ukrainian cargo ship broke in half and sank at the Bartin anchorage in the Black Sea. Thirteen crew members were aboard. Rescue teams saved six people and recovered four bodies. Bad weather hindered further rescue attempts.
