Bridge Collapse Reported Amid Meizhou Flooding
Heavy rainfall has caused severe flooding across parts of southern China, with a bridge collapse reported as floodwaters submerged areas. In Meizhou, Guangdong province, several regions were underwater, with water levels reaching up to 5 meters in some places. As of June 17, some towns and villages in Pingyuan County and Jiaoling County remained out of contact.
