Re: Yeti Airlines Crashes a Mile Before Runway in Nepal
Yeah I heard that too; almost appears (just guessing here) that he actually held on to the phone the entire time, as you can see the phone moving after the flames die down. I wouldn't doubt he held on in a death grip, was knocked unconscious, and at the end moved and breathed a little. Crank up the sound. Not saying woke up, but wow, very strange. Is that a ton of screaming after initial impact? Or the engines......... How the camera wasn't blocked in all this is amazing. What does everyone else think? |

Re: Yeti Airlines Crashes a Mile Before Runway in Nepal
I zoomed out on the stacked videos so I could see both on the screen, and if you start the external footage while the inside the plane footage is at around 52 seconds, I think it's near synced. The plane would have it a bit sooner than you hear the explosion so 51-52 seconds in I believe......

Re: Yeti Airlines Crashes a Mile Before Runway in Nepal
I was thinking the same. Sounds like echo-ey high pitched screaming but then engines powering down make me wonder if it’s just engine noise. If people die on impact, then it would make sense that it’s just about a second of screaming. But that happens after the fire is already burning, which I assume is after impact. So I would have expected the screaming to go on for longer, if it is this scenario. There could have been several rolls as the fuselage breaks. I’m no expert but my guess is: it’s not screaming. I used to have very serious flying phobia, up until I landed a job that required me to fly at least twice every month. I completely got over that fear, but I still wouldn’t fly these airlines. I remember Delta once booked me a connection from Singapore to the US with China Airlines, as I connected in Beijing. I was sweating bullets on that flight. Only time I’ve been scared since I lost my fear of flying. The only time Delta has played me dirty lol. Poor people. Never visiting Nepal, fuck that. Nepal, Nevar. |
