In a tragic incident near Berlin's Olympic Stadium, two helicopters collided mid-air during a police training exercise, resulting in multiple fatalities and injuries.

The collision resulted in the tragic death of one pilot, and four individuals sustained injuries, with two of them in serious condition. Shocking footage depicted the helicopters lying on their sides amidst the snow.

Approximately 400 federal police officers were participating in a training exercise focused on football violence when the accident occurred.

An eyewitness shared their account with NTV channel, stating, "Three helicopters were in the air. It was a real snowstorm. Suddenly we heard a bang and someone shouted 'everybody down.' Then there was blood everywhere, and nearby, there was a huge pool of blood."

Images from the scene revealed police and emergency services attending to one of the damaged helicopters, with individuals providing care to a casualty on a stretcher. Amidst the chaotic aftermath, a police officer with blood on his face was observed leaving the area.
