Newly released footage provides insight into the tragic plane crash that occurred, coinciding with a preliminary report highlighting adverse weather conditions at the time. The video originates from the surveillance cameras typically employed by Aspen-Pitkin County Airport to monitor aircraft on the tarmac and ramps. It encompasses five distinct angles capturing the sequence of events. In the footage, the aircraft is observed making contact with the runway and subsequently bouncing as it approaches for landing, ultimately erupting into flames. At the time of the crash on January 5, the plane was occupied by three pilots, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. Upon closer examination of the infrared cameras, one can discern the jet engines igniting just before the plane's second landing attempt. A preliminary report issued by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) last week indicated that wind gusts reached nearly 30 miles per hour during the incident. This can be observed in the footage, as the blowing snow on the ground serves as a visual representation of the strong winds. |

a few things come to mind.. one is its a reaction to slamming ur chest to the controls from the first attempt and jerking back and its a plane. it wants to fly if it can.. but i dont think the plane was in the mood to fly
