Dumb ass pilot. I always wanted to fly underneath a bridge near Ft. Hood TX. but I never actually tried it. However in Mexico I flew underneath a power line. |

That was just a stupid panic stall. He had time to get over those lines if he hadn't yanked so hard on the stick. A 150 damn near has to come to a complete stop to stall and the only way to do that under that much power is to try and go straight up. Almost always, crashes on small planes are from pilot error, regardless of the situation he put himself into. Basically, had he not panicked he could have cleared the lines, he just forgot his training when put under the stress of clearing the lines quickly.
