Taiwan Chopper Crashes During Rescue Attempt
This was a police helicopter that crashed during a river rescue training exercise in Taiwan. Police said that one of the engines on the helicopter failed and sent it down into the water, the pilot was able to recover it briefly before completely losing it. This helicopter was purchased from the French for about 4 million dollars, and is now a total loss. Although 5 people were hurt, no one died in the incident. |

Man, I thought at first that the guy who fell in the water was sliced up by the rotor blades and you could see bits of him flying.
