The Antonov An-2, a highly regarded aircraft in the Soviet Union, was known for its versatility and robustness, allowing it to operate from various terrains. This reputation likely influenced 78-year-old Swedish pilot Kjell Brattfors to undertake a daring maneuver with an An-2, registration SE-KCE, near Gothenburg, Sweden, in Vårgårda on July 8.

Brattfors initially planned to take off from a road but shifted to a nearby field due to traffic. Despite the field's limited space and nearby tall trees posing a clear risk, Brattfors proceeded with the takeoff. A video captured by onlookers shows the An-2 struggling to ascend, its right wing dipping sharply before colliding with the trees and vanishing into the greenery.

Remarkably, the crash resulted in only minor injuries for the five individuals aboard, including Brattfors and four passengers.

Its a camera fps issue, no? The propeller is rotating way faster but the video framerate makes it look slow.
