On Tuesday morning a small aircraft operated by the medical distributor Dimed veered off the runway at Santa Rosa Airport in the Northwestern region of Rio Grande do Sul.

Dimed Group issued an official statement confirming that the aircraft, carrying a pilot and two passengers, experienced the incident during its landing. Fortunately, all three individuals on board emerged without injuries, and there were no reported injuries to anyone else.

The accident took place at approximately 8:40 am and resulted in material damage to the aircraft. Dimed Group swiftly notified the relevant authorities, and they have initiated an investigation to determine the causes of the incident.

In response to the situation, the Civil Defense of Santa Rosa cordoned off the area, and environmental authorities conducted checks to ensure there was no fuel leakage. Plans are in place for a specialized company to recover the aircraft from its position in the ravine.

Dimed Group's official statement reads: "Grupo Dimed informs that, around 8:40 am on Wednesday, a small business aircraft of the company skidded and left the runway at Santa Rosa Airport (RS) during its landing. The pilot and the two passengers were unharmed, and everyone is doing well. There was only material damage.

“The competent authorities were notified and the company is working on investigating the causes of the episode”

"The competent authorities were notified and the company is working on investigating the causes of the episode."

As opposed to the "Incompetent Authorities?" It's like saying "Unregistered Nurse."
