RV-7 N17NK Crash Near Morgan, UT

An amateur-built single-engine RV-7, N17NK, crashed near Morgan, Utah, on April 8, 2023. The aircraft was substantially damaged.

The pilot was not injured.

The crash was caused by the pilot/builder improperly torquing the propeller attachment bolts while reinstalling the propeller. The bolts failed from fatigue, and the propeller assembly separated.
