Rans S7 Takeoff Crash Near Gardner, KS
An amateur-built single-engine Rans S7, N8932L, crashed near Gardner, KS, on May 13, 2023. The airplane sustained substantial damage. Two people were aboard. One was seriously injured and one had minor injuries. During takeoff, the pilot exceeded the airplane's critical angle of attack, causing an aerodynamic stall and loss of control at an altitude too low to recover.  ·  ·  ·  ·
