R44 Raven II Helicopter Hits Powerlines and Crashes
In Brazil, a helicopter accident occurred during the early evening of Tuesday, resulting in a crash near a cooperative in Boa Vista da Aparecida. Reports indicate that the helicopter was being used to transport individuals interested in purchasing properties in a residential subdivision. However, during the takeoff, the helicopter struck power lines and subsequently crashed, leading to the complete destruction of the aircraft. At the time of the accident, there were three occupants on board the helicopter, and fortunately, no injuries were reported. The helicopter involved was identified as an R44 II, bearing the serial number 13037. This particular model has the capacity to accommodate three passengers and was manufactured in 2010. It is owned by a local businessman who reassured that all individuals on board are in good health, and the damage incurred was limited to the aircraft itself. |

I know the accident was unexpected but I wish the person taking the video would have stayed on the helicopter. So irritating. She needs to go to the Abraham Zapruder School of Photography.  |
