Protech PT2 Crash Near Columbia, MS
A single-engine amateur-built Protech PT2, N44048, crashed near Columbia, MS, on April 24, 2023. The aircraft sustained substantial damage, and no injuries were reported. The crash was caused by the pilot's lack of proper maintenance, which allowed the fuel filters to become obstructed. That led to fuel starvation and a loss of engine power.  ·  ·
