Plane Overruns Runway at Courchevel Altiport
A Piper PA-46-350P Malibu Mirage overran the runway while landing at Courchevel Altiport, France, in February 2019. The aircraft missed the touchdown zone and landed about 200 metres beyond it. It could not stop on the snow-covered runway and continued off the end into a snow berm. Five people were aboard. Three suffered minor injuries, and one passenger was removed from the fuselage by paramedics. The aircraft was probably severely damaged.
