It looked to me like he/she was trying to AVOID the cars on the roadway resulting in said head on crash with building. If he was indeed selfish like one commenter said he was for accidentally killing himself or herself and their passenger. (I only say he/she cause the report said they weren’t sure who was piloting the plane.) He would’ve for sure took out the cars that he was absolutely successfully avoided possibly taking more lives. |

The couple that dies were from out of state. The man was a Vietnam chopper pilot. The wing caught a support wire for the utility pole, if it were not for that he woulda made it. The airport is roughly 6 miles.

Are you a pilot? Have you ever been in a situation like this? Basic instinct is to survive bud, if this "asshole" was having engine problems or whatever, this straight road was a pretty good emergency landing spot. That's why it's called an emergency landing, you don't really have time to look at a map or pick and choose where and when you're going to crash land.
