Re: Plane Crashes Last Words

I had a dream last night I took off and the aircraft wouldn't climb and I turned towards a field and hit power lines and landed with one wing. Pretty cool. Now I have an actual flight in 2 hours

Re: Plane Crashes Last Words

This hardly compares but I flew an ultra-light when I was a teenager: meaning one time.

Now, I had some things going for me - teen with reflexes, smarter than average bear, pilot was with me (it was a 2-seater) - but landing is more of a son-of-a-bitch than you can imagine.

Long story short - we dropped 10 feet (according to the pilot) at when I thought we were right over the ground on the landing - BAM!

The pilot tried to correct but we (I) damaged his gear.
