Piper PA31 N34WM Crash Near Point Thomson, AK
On May 17, 2023, a twin-engine Piper PA31, N34WM, operated by JuniPogo LLC, crashed near Point Thomson, AK. The aircraft sustained substantial damage. The pilot was aboard, and no injuries were reported. The crash was caused by the pilot's inadvertent descent below the published minimum descent altitude while operating in flat light conditions, resulting in controlled flight into terrain.  ·  ·
