Piper PA28R N3796T Excursion Near Defuniak, FL
On May 4, 2023, a single-engine Piper PA28R, N3796T, was substantially damaged during takeoff near Defuniak Springs, FL. The pilot was not injured. The pilot failed to maintain directional control while taking off in a crosswind, which led to a runway excursion and impact with a berm.
